Abstract

        The research aims at identifying the effect of the application of governance mechanisms in outstanding  performance. In order to achieve this, the research relied on internal governance mechanisms such as (Board of Directors, Disclosure, Transparency and Internal Auditing) and internal governance mechanisms such as external audit, The relationship between variables, stakeholders, legislations and laws) showing  of its impact on the outstanding performance and for the purpose of knowledge of the nature of the relationship between the variables , it has been prepared a questionnaire distributed on research’  sample consisting of 6 private  banks, the size of a sample of 60 members representing the Board of Directors . The research reached a number of conclusions, most notably the existence of a positive relationship between the application of the mechanisms of governance and the achievement of outstanding performance in the banks of the research sample. A number of recommendations related to the research variables
