Abstract
The research aims to demonstrate the importance and impact of the banking merger on the earnings per share for First Abu Dhabi Bank by focusing on a set of indicators which are (earnings per share, average earnings per share growth, market value per share) before and after the merger, the research period spanned from the year 2014 until the end of the year 2019 , As the research period was divided into three years before the merger and three years after the merger, and a set of statistical methods were used to analyze the data, including (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, in addition to using the (T) test to measure the nature of the relationship between research variables before and after the merger), The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the gradual rise in the stock performance indicators for the years after the merger, and the research recommended the need to expand in the future by increasing the number of years after the merger and all indicators to indicate the extent of the positive banking merger on the performance indicators of the first Abu Dhabi Bank share..
